Professional hardwood deep cleaning sits in the middle of the maintenance spectrum. It’s far more thorough than household mopping, but doesn’t require sanding the floor back to bare wood.
We use commercial buffer equipment with non-abrasive pads and pH-neutral cleaners formulated specifically for hardwood finishes. The result lifts years of grime, residue, and ground-in grit that consumer mops can’t touch.

Deep cleaning is the right choice when the wood itself is in good shape, but the finish looks dull, hazy, or just plain dirty. Most homeowners are surprised by how dramatic the result is.

How a deep clean actually goes.
Pre-vacuum
Commercial vacuum to remove all dust, grit, and debris, including in seams and along baseboards.
Cleaner application
pH-neutral cleaner formulated for polyurethane and oil-finished hardwood floors. Applied evenly.
Mechanical scrub
Rotary buffer with a non-abrasive pad lifts embedded residue and grime without damaging the finish.
Extract & polish
Dirty solution is extracted, not wiped around. Optional polish coat for added sheen and a sacrificial wear layer.

Hardwood maintenance lives on a spectrum from light to heavy. Deep cleaning is the lightest professional intervention. Screen-and-recoat is the next step up. Full refinishing is the heaviest.
We’ll tell you which one fits your floor on the first visit. If a deep clean is enough, that’s what we’ll recommend. If you need more, we’ll explain why.
