Glendale
We sell and install hardwood flooring in Glendale, one room or the whole house. Refinishing, repair, recoating, and hardwood stairs too. Small samples ship free, and large boards come out to the house.

Our Range
The hardwood we carry.
Prefinished boards for a straightforward install, and unfinished boards for matching an existing floor.
Oak in strip through wide plank, plus walnut, hickory, and maple, solid for nail-down installation over a wood subfloor and engineered for slabs, upper floors, and radiant heat. We also carry unfinished wood, which is what allows a new floor to be sanded and finished together with an older one, and acoustic underlayments for units above other units.
- Solid hardwood, prefinished or unfinished
- Engineered hardwood, bonded or floated, with rated underlayment
- Luxury vinyl and laminate, for baths, laundries, and rentals
Samples ship free, and large boards come out to the house, which is what you want when a new floor has to meet one that is staying.
Installation
Partial or whole-house hardwood flooring installation in Glendale.
Floors here often go in a room or a level at a time, and we quote them that way.
Because we supply the wood as well as install it, a phased job comes from the same product and the same crew from the first room to the last. Where some of the existing floor is staying, we can lay the new wood unfinished and then sand and finish the new and the old together, so both take the same stain and the same coats. Where that is not possible, a planned threshold at the doorway is the clean answer.
Existing Floors
Refinishing, repair, and recoating.
Including matching a repair into a floor that is staying.
Individual boards are replaced and matched on species, grade, and grain, then stained to close what is left. Full sanding takes a floor to bare wood and rebuilds the finish, and screening and recoating refreshes a worn finish without going to bare wood. How much sanding a floor has left is read at a vent or a threshold at the consultation.
Attached Housing
Condos, townhomes, and the unit below.
If your home is attached, we handle the sound rating alongside the floor.
Buildings and associations here set a minimum rating, and it belongs to the whole assembly rather than to the board, so it depends on the underlayment beneath the floor and the structure below that. Send us your building’s requirement and we build the assembly to it and hand you the product and underlayment documentation to submit.
Stairs
Hardwood stairs, nosings, treads, and risers.
Treads, risers, and nosings for the split-level and two-storey houses.
We install hardwood nosings, treads, and risers, cut to match the floor in species, stain, and sheen so the two read as one surface, or contrasted where the stair should stand on its own. Carpeted stairs can be converted to wood, and stairs are measured on the same visit as the floors. More on our stair work.
Samples
Samples, laid against what is staying.
When part of the floor is staying, a sample only tells you something once it is sitting on the existing wood.
Small samples ship to your door free. Large sample boards come out to the house with the in-home visit, several at a time, and stay with you. Put them at the doorway where the two floors will meet and look in daylight and again in the evening. The full range is in the showroom.

FAQ
Questions from Glendale homeowners
What we get asked most before a job here.
Do you sell the flooring or only install it?
Both. We sell it, deliver it, and install it, and the written estimate covers the wood and the work as separate lines.
Can you match new wood to the floor I already have?
Often. We carry unfinished wood, so the new floor can be laid raw and then sanded and finished together with the old, which means both take the same stain and coats. Where the existing floor cannot be sanded, we match as closely as the product allows and recommend a threshold if the difference would show.
Can I do one room now and the rest later?
Yes. Because we supply the wood as well as install it, the later rooms come from the same product and the same crew.
My building requires a sound rating. Can you meet it?
Yes. Send us the requirement, we build the assembly to it, and you get the product and underlayment documentation to submit.
Do you install hardwood stairs?
Yes. We install hardwood nosings, treads, and risers, cut to match the floor, and we convert carpeted stairs to wood.
